what are the legalities of selling a pre 68 Mossburg shotgun without a serial number?
Serial numbers weren't mandatory on shotguns before 1968, how does one legally sell such a thing?

Non issue.
FFL writes "no serial number" "nsn" or some variation.
I just sold one last weekend-any competent ffl can figure it out.
