News at 11; TV reporter discovers that police can't be everywhere at once and that he is on his own for 21 minutes. Still wonders why anyone would want or need a gun to protect themselves.

That is 21 minutes in the big city, what about the small one cop towns, or out in rural America, or extremely rural areas of Amercia

In Silverfalls School district there are places that the closest LE is almost 16 miles away on very non high speed county roads And those LE's (Silverton City Police)don't even cover that area. So theres no telling how far away the closest Marion County Deputy might be when a call comes in. So even if the LEO was sitting in his car talking to his girl friend on the cell phone and had nothing else going on it could easy take 20 min plus to get to a site just in the School District.

The reporter is so damn lucky he didn't get a couple of felony repeat offenders. The headlines would have read "Seattle - KIRO7 photographer dead from home invasion attack"!!!!
