Scottish journalist says Second Amendment should be repealed

Writing yesterday in The Scotsman, journalist Allan Massie – a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature – contended that not only has the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment been misread, it should also be repealed.

He's just another foreign journalist that knows little of American history.
The sad part is, he apparently knows little of his own country's history.

Nothing would have stopped the Brit's subjugation of the Scots, and the theft of their property faster than an armed Scottish citizenry.

Why the hell should I care what a non-American thinks about my constitutional rights? I think his right to express himself in my country should be repealed - let's see how he would appreciate that.

I'm really getting tired of non-Americans telling us what we need to do.

I guess he would have suggested that William Wallace shouldn't have been armed.

Send him back where he came from. It should have consequences when some foreigner says some thing like this . IF he's against us why is he here ??

Q. What does a Scottish journalist have under his kilt?
A. Nothing!

Q. What do modern Scottish reporters keep in their Sporran?
A. A cellphone, an encouraging note from mum, and lipstick.

Q. What's the first thing a Scottish reporter asks when doing an interview?
A. "Does this Tartan make my arse look big?"

Didn't Scotland just vote to remain under British rule out of the fear of making their own decisions and bearing the consequences? Yeah, I can see why he can't figure out the Second Amendment...

The comments in the link are a real hoot to read. The Cliff Notes version: He is a moron who doesn't understand the subject matter.

Quite a few here in America and on this forum have a hard time figuring it out also.
A hard time figuring out what is behind the destruction of the 2nd and the Constitution in whole.
Coming to the conclusion that only one thing will save it.
Too much / too many, interference plays to fix it any other way unless some people wake up..

Why would anyone pay attention to these foreign needle-diks?
They can all kiss my frosty sack and Peirs Morgan can go first.

Just the pathetic Socialist losers - I'd buy Mark Steyn a beer any day of the week. Wish they would send us more of him...

Edit: I originally said Ben Stein. Id still love to have a beer wit Ben Stein, but meant Mark.

Allan Massie? Never heard of her.

Also, I hopped on Google and it turns out that a touch over 230 years ago, our forefathers fought a Revolutionary War in order to not be told by someone with a foreign accent what the fubblegum we are or are not going to do here in our own country.

So that dude and his opinions can Fubblegum Off....
