Intimdating people from attending rallies is another form of cancel culture. We won't have any voice left by the time they are done with us. It's sad that a bunch of antifa misfits were so much better organized and prepared to dominate the field like they did. If that had been a game, it would have been a blowout. Freedom team lost that match big time. Spin it how you like but antifa is dedicated, organized and better prepared to dominate these type of situations. Those who oppose antifa just don't have what it takes to oppose them on the streets (with few exceptions, PB, PP to name a couple).

When a democrat super majority was elected you lost any voice you had . Single party rule never leads to good things

This discussion reminded me of the Texas incident last summer in which US Army Sergeant Daniel Perry used a pistol to defend himself from a 'protestor' wielding an AK. Fortunately for him, SGT Perry was (a) in Texas and (b) responding to an armed threat.

How would this play out in our neck of the woods? We can discuss this one all day, but I think we can all agree that the authorities - and especially the authorities in our cities and further west - are biased (a) against gun owners and (b) in favor of the 'social justice' crowd. I would add that Antifa, etc. exploit the situation by attacking with clubs, bear spray, etc. instead of firearms in most cases.

If they come at you with bear spray and you shoot them, it's easy for the protestors and their friends in the media to spin that to their heart's content. Sometimes the best way to win the fight - is to avoid it in the first place. Vigilance!

When they DO get it, they won't like it.

I agree but right now they know they have the cat by the tail , because the police clearly ran interference for them. The minute one rock was tossed that party should have been over.

The police at a minimum should have began arresting rock and paint bomb throwers . It ceased to be peaceful with those actions

Agreed the stuff these piles of excrement have been pulling didn't get a free pass in Oklahoma or Texas . I hope at some point the people of this state will demand it not be permitted here.

People can do what they like and I don't really care as long as they don't screw with me or mine directly, but I think it may be disingenuous the say the guy in the Captain Amerika truck was just passing through on his way to Home Depot. Point being, the guy intentionally went to the den of the gorp gobbling chodo chumpers and poked them with a stick. Best to stay home and watch them larp around barking at the wind on TV if one is so inclined to even care about their delusional antics.
Nice try but your conjecture could not be any further from the truth.

My friend showed me this morning where the encounter happened and he actually turned West where the old Sears store used to be by the department of state lands building. He got stopped at a traffic signal and the a holes converged on his truck and started doing damage.

He has avoided going to the capital building area since all the protest crap started and he was not a part of any protest.

I have convinced him that even though he has the right to fly flags on his truck and a big prisoner of war tribute flag, he must remove them to keep from an incident like this happening again.

He was not arrested or charged with any crime and the police all told him He reacted appropriately for the situation.

He was told six of the thugs were arrested but as in the past I'm sure they will be released and nothing will come of it.

Sad times my friends

My friends damage truck is in a secure location where he can remove everything that offends the snowflakes and repair the damage.

I drove him across town to get another vehicle but told him I was going to make him wear a blond wig and red lipstick. As much as his mug is in the news Today I would rather people think I have a hooker in my truck than him.

Agreed, these are indeed sad times, when one cannot fly the flag of the United States of America, cannot display their beliefs... oh, that's right, only one side gets to do that. Who the he!! Is Antifa to dictate where one can drive and what one can display? They need to be treated as the domestic terrorism organization they truly are... I agree the whole lot of them should have been rounded up with the first rock thrown, the first paint filled balloon, the first broken window...

Well, we are coming to a time folks when much blood will be shed in our streets as those of a conservative trait are pushed a little too hard. It's coming, the pot will indeed boil over...

I was raised in western WA, Mason county but couldn't stand even E.WA anymore.

Problem is the laws promulgated on the west side apply to the whole state. WA regulatory enviro is too controlled for me. The rules governing pest reports were intrusive and draconian.

Aaaaaaaand, I read this morn that the OR senate has voted to ban all firearms at the Capitol.

That reminds me of Charlottesville when the police herded the two groups into the same area. Talk about interference, and look at what happened there/then!!!
