Visited a new ranch near Bonanza and found the ground covered with squirrels! I sat in one spot and shot 1000 rds. I took a pic of the first 6. PM me if you want info on sage rat hunting.

Wait one minute here .... all the videos I have seen show them dissipate into thin air with the totally cool red mist....... is you using FMJ instead of the ballistic tips?
Oh, just got on the desktop & zoomed in on the rifle, a 10/22.
Nice shooting!!!

Oh and Stomper, they taste just like squirrel.....:p

I haven't eaten squirell before, but I hear-tell it ain't too bad, actually. Given their typical diet, I can see why they wouldn't be rank.

I'll eat just about anything at least once (except for canabalism) as long as it's not moving, but that's not a deal breaker either. ;)

Ive heard of another group of guys that have family with a ranch over there in Bonanza. They show pictures of hundreds a day piled up. Really makes me want to get my old man away from work and take a trip for a weekend.
