ruger vaquero front sight repair

The front sight on my old modle vaquero poped off... Is this gonna be a pretty easy fix? Is there someone in the vancover area with the know how to fix it for me? Is this somthing i could do myself ?

It happens all the time even though Ruger won't admit it. If you send it back to them, you won't be happy. PM me if you want to know how they treated me both times I sent one back. JB weld works well. It's silver soldered on originally so that is the correct fix, but it'll leave heat marks on the barrel.

Find a gunsmith to solder it back on.
