Rimfire plinker revolver

Howdy,

I am looking to purchase a .22 (prefer single action) revolver. This will be a gift for my surrogate son for Christmas. We like(cosmetic) fixers and the budget is around 100-150 max. Don't need a looker but would prefer something that is cosmetically challenged so we can do a refinish if necessary. We love to make grips and have the capabilities to reblue/nickle plate etc. The gun just needs to function (no timing issues) safely and properly. We would also like adjustable rear sight but would consider a fixed as well

I have a real nice Squires Bingham (model 20, rimfire) semi auto rifle imported by Liberty Arms that may be available for trade. I can send pics if you like.

I've never shot it.

It looks like a $95 gun. I can take any more pics because it's at the Portland gunshow.

Sorry. From there you jump up tp the Taurus PT-22 or the Ruger 22/45 for $239 and $289.

Those would be brand new guns, not fixers.

Good luck on your quest. Gun restoration can be pretty fun.

May just have to "bite the bullet" and jump on something better.

We do like "project guns" but they seem to be false economies at times.
