I think you will find that the 5 shot .38 hamerless conceal guns by S&W, Colt and Others are a lot of gun to shoot with +P ammo.
I do not think there is much need to use more, more about can you shoot it, rounds down range, and how many rounds end up on target.
What I was always told is the first person to fire usually wins the fight, but it is actually the first person to land a hit.
Just my opinion.
A lot of federal agencies have been switching to 9mm because .40 is quite a bit to handle for a lot of folks.
