Remington R1 1911's at Sportsman's Warehouse $399

My local Sportsman's warehouse is running a special on R1's. They have the blued one for $399 after $75 mail-in rebate, and the stainless version for $449 after rebate. This is listed in their printed flyer, so is likely to be in other stores also.

I picked up a blue one this morning, and as of 6:30 PM they still had 9 left as well as some stainless.

My store is Klamath Falls, but you should check locally to see if the deal is running.

That is what I'm thinking. The Para factory is still in the process of being relocated AFAIK.

No, they're not the same gun, the Para name has already been stopped and that factory relocate completed quite some time ago.

When I sent my Expert in for some warranty work in March, they told me the factory integration with Para wasn't complete and wouldn't be for several months. I dont have a more recent update as my Expert came back pretty in early April.

This is definitely a great deal. I paid $199 for a Tisas 1911A1 on Black Friday last year from Buds Gun Shop, but I'm tempted to add a Remington into the mix now!
