They've filed for bankruptcy too. Apparently, they ran ads for that model rifle in video games of all things. It sounds a little irresponsible on the surface, but I don't know the details. I'm more disappointed that the Supreme Court allowed this case to go on. I expect to see a ton of nuisance cases being filed by activists.
 
The insurance company settled. Don't know that a bankrupt Remington that was split up and sold off in parts actually had any role to play in this decision. All the same, this will only encourage more lawsuits. I'm okay if some of the tacticool makers dial back their juvenile ads.
