After nearly a year, it's finally here!

Back at the end of April 2023, I purchased a Ruger Silent-SR ISB barrel for my new 10/22 Takedown Lite rifle. The Form 4 paperwork was filed as a "Trust".

A mere 2 weeks ago, the Tax Stamp finally came through! With all the talk about how fast things are getting...nearly a year wait on this one.

On top of that, a suppressor I purchased at the end of September of 2023 was approved in early March of 2024. Go figure!

Anyway, I had to vent. I'm getting to the age where I'm no longer comfortable buying things that I may not be able to use before I'm dead. We'll see how things go, after the election.

The new speedup only applied to new e-file submissions from about just over a month ago. Any previous submissions are still going to take however long they take.

FWIW: I sumitted on on 4/22, well after the 'fast-lane' time and still haven't been approved.

Tomorrow is promised to no-one, regardless of age.

Yes, pretty much every .22 suppressor built today can be disassembled for cleaning.
