Nope, but because they bought tapco then dropped em, they screwed over another market. That they should have stayed out of.They had no reason to be in that market in the first place.
AR lower that uses ak mags, problem solved.Yeah but the ar has a lower the ak is more sleek in that regaurd
the statement from Daniel Defense?
Is Remington Leaving the MSR Market? DPMS, Bushmaster and TAPCO Sites are Shuttered - The Truth About Guns
UPDATE: a dealer friend of ours received an email today from distribution giant RSR Group notifying them of the following: Remington Outdoor Company informed RSR at the SHOT Show that they will be focusing on their core hunting and shooting brands – AAC, Barnes, Marlin and Remington. Bushmaster...www.thetruthaboutguns.com
Sounds fuddery related if ya ask me.
Same with Shrubcrapper, DPMS and Remington IMOCRAPCO is no big loss.
Meh, ARAK has a 7.62x39 upper. Though if I was gonna spend that much money I'd be getting something that is worth the price. Either a collectible rifle or something of high quality.Pointless.

Tapco is fine if you want someone to build your kit and requires US parts (that you'd end up replacing later cause 922r isn't enforced). They're all garbage so who cares?
The only thing I could find was this from 2018. Seems all good to me on the DD front. Quoting Marty Daniel:What's this mention of Daniel Defense?
Let me be very clear:
• My life's work is to protect an individual's right to keep and bear arms by holding our lawmakers accountable to the Second Amendment.
• I believe that all firearms laws that limit the rights of law abiding citizens are unconstitutional.
• I will never support any legislation which infringes on any individuals rights, and could potentially subvert due process.
I meant in terms of construction. The ar's two reciever design makes it a bit bulky in the midsection. The ak has a pretty slim reciever. Im working off memory here but i believe its grip is closer to the axis then an ar's is.AR lower that uses ak mags, problem solved.

Does remington own tapco ?They didn't just drop ARs. Tapco made AK parts that people use for 922r and such. As well as parts for other guns.
Does remington own tapco ?
