I gave a good buddy of mine some .380 ammo as he couldn't find any in the stores and what he was finding online was $1 per round.
I gave it to him with the caveat that he replace it when this panic-cr_p subsides and ammo starts to hit the shelves at a reasonable price again.
My $0.02...... give it to him now because it appears he needs it more than you do (or give him whatever you are comfortable being without). Just tell him to replace it when he can.
