What does the loading manual say. There is usually a max load and it will show the CUP (PSI?).

I recommend going to 11 whenever possible.

I use a 165gr Speer HotCor in .308. I am at work, so I don't know off the top of my head which powder or fps for my load. It is a hunting load, since I don't know what your intended use is. Only used it once, headshot a Muley. Picking up the antlers, the skull felt like a bag filled with broken pottery shards. 275 yds.

Dryer loads? Fill the case with so much powder that you have to set it on the dryer to vibrate the
powder down enough so you can seat the bullet.

IMR 4895 at 41.5 grains and a 168 HPBT should shoot well out of most anything. It is a standard rifle match load.

Imr4064 is a pretty good powder for heavier 308 loads

Was gonna say, I didn't know USPSA had a 308 division with power factors!

I had good results with Accurate 2460 using 155s and 165s

Actually I was just out shooting a new to me BLR .308. 44 gr of 4064 behind a 155 HPBT gave me a 7 round group at 100 yds I could cover with a half dollar.
