Springfield 1911-A2 SASS RIFLE CONVERSION KIT SET .223 and .308
Springfield Armory only made these conversions for one year, so they are VERY rare and hard to find. The last time these were on Gunbroker - each conversion sold for over $1,200. These conversions will allow you to transform your normal 1911 frame into a rifle caliber and are extremely accurate with a 15-inch long barrel. This listing contains a set of TWO conversions - one for .223 and another for .308 caliber. The .223 is blued and features fully adjustable iron sights. The .308 is chromed stainless steel has a front sight and high-powered 3-9×40 scope (good for 300 yards). The .308 barrel also has porting to reduce recoil. Included is the magazine lever which allows you to open the barrel and automatically extracts the casing. The .223 looks to be unfired/test fired, and the .308 looks to be seldom fired. Both are in great shape for their age. The previous Gunbroker auctions listed these conversions without the upgrades these have, and not in the condition these are in. I am pricing this set accordingly.
