I originally purchased this gun about 20 years ago. I have never fired it. This is the Russian Tula 1955/56 version of SKS. It is a refurb. This gun is a rather rare and desirable variant called a 'Letter Series' Simonov whose serial number is followed by the Cyrillic letter: И [an 'I']. This gun also has the original production Russian ('Arctic') Birch hardwood stock. The majority of the refurbs were replaced with new hardwood or laminated stocks.

    SOLD
