If I were to attempt my first build, this is how my lightweight AR would look like.... 4lb 11oz without scope. At 5lb 10oz with 2.5x Prism scope.

Faxon 16" pencil barrel
Faxon lightweight BCG
Lancer 13" carbon fiber handguard
Smoke Industures fixed carbon fiber stock
Phase 5 carbon fiber grip
La Rue 2-Stage 4lb trigger
Radian Raptor charging handle

Todays activities included assembly of this little gem. Aero Precision lower, Strike Industries LPK, PSA polished FCG, Troy enhanced trigger guard, Magpul butt stock and grip. Topped off with a RRA Rage 1:9 lightweight upper and Vortex Spitfire 1X prism optic.
