Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Looking for some information on this derringer. Potentially would like to sell it but I'm not quite sure who made this, nor am I certain what caliber it is. Any thoughts?
Well---it's a turn barrel (barrel unscrews for loading) percussion lock pistol. 1820 to 1870 or so if it's an original. How big is it?
Looks like there are some marks on the right side of the frame and barrel, but I can't quite make them out. Get some better pics
and someone can probably tell you where and roughly when it was made.
Here is another picture...not sure if I can decipher the markings. Is there an organization or someone I might be able to show this to in the Portland metro area?
