Suicide should not be classified as ‘gun violence’

Yesterday’s daring intervention by a Washington State Patrol trooper in an attempted suicide on the East Channel Bridge at Mercer Island and I-90 is yet another reminder that people intent on taking their own lives will find a way, and when they use firearms that should not be classified as “gun violence.”

So true Dave but we know that the gun-banners use any tactic or statistics they can find to further their agenda.

Kudos to everyone involved in saving the woman's life. That poor kid almost had a very bad Christmas, it's bad enough I'm sure as it was. Seven years old is old enough to know what's going on with mommy.

Rabid anti-gunners will use any tactic to further the cause. If a case of .45ACP fell off a shelf and crushed someone's skull, they would caulk it up to more senseless gun violence.
