If you think about it, it seems like we're 50 years (or more) behind where we should be. I can imagine if the NFA never included suppressors, we would be at the point today where ALL firearms were suppressed from the mfg. and to not have them so would be tantamount to not having a muffler on your car or motorcycle. Anyone at the range would whom didn't have a suppressed weapon would look like the HD owner who upon purchase of their new bike immediately takes the baffles out or goes and puts some screaming eagle pipes on. :s0112:
 
To put this in a nutshell.
Suppressors would save the hearing of many shooters and they would eliminate much of the complaints of range noise by irritable bit.chy neighbors.
There should NOT be restrictions in their use or ownership in any way. Their regulation is one I have never been able to rationalize.
A law enacted by some very paranoid, irrational and cowardly legislators.
