Heads up; Orc Industries (USGI supplier of USMC field tarps, US Army ponchos, USAF ponchos, other things) have reduced prices on the "Foliage Green" ponchos here https://www.orcind.com/product/foliage-green-poncho-with-green-snaps/
Feedback from another forum confirms the following details
Fabric is Camo Green 483 (same as late 1990s, early 2000s ALICE gear and rucks) in polyurethane coated 1.6oz ripstop fabric
Grommets, hardware, cord, stitching all in US Army Foliage "green" gray color
Was made for Afghanistan in 2016-2018ish but never sent.. supplies are basically new old surplus.
Should be ideal for the PNW rain, and at the USGI size of 66" wide and 96" long, should be awesome for those who are larger, and should make for a good emergency shelter (poncho hooch). Cheaper than Multicam/OCP-Scorpion and newer than Woodland lol

anyways! Got mine in today. Impressions, its a little lighter than the OD USGI 1980s ponchos. But not by much. Smells better, still has that Polyurethane coating smell but eh thats pretty common. Indeed Camo Green 483 per the tag on it. Packing slip says "poncho WW Afghan" (Wet Weather).
