Thats a great price, considering these days a decent kit starts at 650$ plus, spare barrel is 150. Just a Hesse receiver stripped these days is 250-350. So yah you did great.

The FAL is our go to rifle for most things.
I discovered the inch pattern magazine release is much better than the metric style, and easier to reach.

See, This is why we LOVE the FAL, so many different "Speed Parts" we can change to make them perform better. Mag release, charging handle, carry handle, sights, all sorts of cool stuff. and it's not like an M-1A, every one would blast ya if the finish was off color one shade, very few get worked up over a FAL. My all time favorite FrankenFAL has an AR A-2 Match rear sight conversion on it and a small trit front sight pin, and really nice wood stocks. No one says any thing bad about it, Its "Just" a FAL, THE RIGHT ARM OF THE FREE WORLD!!!
