I am selling a weaver k4 w that sat on a rifle for about 25 ish years and that rifle was shot maybe 5 times. Over all good condition it has some surface rust spots but some time with steel wool and cold blue would fix that. Shot it in the rain 2 weeks ago and it did not fog.
