Well, there were just White House and Pentagon press conferences on the subject. I don't know if you call that proof or not. Pentagon says debris recovery operations are underway. The debris fell on ocean ice, so it should be pretty easy to get.

Whatever it was, it wasn't moving very fast. They say it entered Alaskan airspace yesterday, and Biden gave the order to shoot it down last night. 2 F-15s did a fly by so they had eyes on it before they downed it.

FWIW, WH and DoD say they were F-22s out of Elmendorf AFB. Another lucky pilot gets a balloon kill. Four more and he/she's an ace.

IDK. They have said the shoot down was by F-22s. But they also said the visual identification yesterday was by a pair of F-15s. That is if you can believe an Air Force 1-star. But he probably spends most of the time on the golf course, so who knows?

Biden is weak and feckless that's pretty much undeniable at this point. Kind of hard for Trump to shoot one down when he doesn't know they're there and if the generals did know they were there and didn't inform The POTUS that's treason.

Besides, cant the balloons be seen from the ground? It will be interesting to learn the validity of the "we didnt see any" defense.
