NY Daily News calls Wayne Lapierre a terrorist & accuses NRA of "sick gun jihad against America"


Public outrage over continued mass shootings in America has spilled over into the mainstream in dramatic fashion. This will be the front page of the New York Daily News on Friday, December 4:


This is remarkable outrage from a major daily newspaper, however sensational. For the paper is not only calling out the media's bigoted obsession with Muslims while ignoring white terrorism, it explicitly places complicity for such terrorism at the feet of the NRA.

Indeed, the front page calls Wayne Lapierre a "terrorist" and accuses the NRA of a "sick gun jihad against America in the name of profit." The paper's editorial, "Making Mass Murder Easy," expands upon this notion of just how vulnerable the gun lobby has made US citizens.

This outrage from the Daily News comes after Republicans in the Senate today voted down a gun control measure which would have barred sales of guns to suspected domestic terrorists. While the vote was symbolic ― the voted down amendment was attached to a health care bill with no chance of passage ― it signaled that Republicans are willing to back the NRA at every deadly turn. Of course, this isn't surprising, given that the NRA spent $34 million in 2014 to block all forms of gun control, including six- and seven-figures to many of those Republican senators who voted against gun control today,

It's remarkable that the GOP seems to be supporting policies which one imagines ISIS would champion as well: 1) the rejection of Syrian refugees fleeing terror, and 2) the rejection of bills which restrict firearm access, even to domestic terrorists.

The New York Daily News seems to agree, and calls out one entity as more responsible than any for this "sick gun jihad against America" ― Wayne Lapierre's NRA.

I'd be happy to vote for carving out a chunk of the current US to give to the crazies - on the conditions that a border wall is constructed, and they renounce all US citizenship and cannot immigrate back to the US once they leave. Has anyone else noticed the leftists' new "buzz word de jure" is "Terrorist" and "Terrorism" that is being used ALL OVER the map?

They're applying it to ANYTHING and EVERYONE who does or or says something that makes them "uncomfortable" or "fearful". They're just weaponizing the word to use for political gain, and all it will do is desensitize people to the proper use of those terms.

This morning I watched some leftists schmuck on the morning "news" interchangeably lump "crazy" people who have committed mass shootings (Newton, Planed Parenthood) with the recent Islamic terrorist event in Cali as "terrorist".

The logic is ALL terrorist are "crazy".... you silly, clueless little progressive schmuck. Sure some terrorist are "crazy", but the vast majority of them are quite lucid and have (solid) personal convictions they are prosecuting upon those who are in opposition to those convictions. "Crazy" people who commit mass shootings are just that... crazy. They are only looking for infamy so they'll be remembered for something as they're typically mundane and UTTERLY unremarkable as a person or in deeds/achievement, or are really acting out irrationally from bilogically or chemically induced influences, or a combo of all the above.

Progressives are going to find themselves on the "endangered species" list very soon, and are doomed to extinction at the hands of VERY REAL BUTCHERS (and NOT "right-wing radicals, either) if they don't wake up to the fact that EVERY SINGLE IOTA of life is NOT about politics and an unrealistic "wet dream" notion of a "political agenda" who's goal is total control over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.
