"Since its inception, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, founded by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and others, has proclaimed nonviolence."

" Georgia SCLC president Rev. Samuel Mosteller stopped just short of telling black Americans to arm themselves. But the reverend did call upon them to defend themselves through the 2nd Amendment, or the right to bear arms.

He made the statement at a rally Tuesday at Centennial Park.

"You know, the SCLC stands for nonviolence," said Rev. Mosteller, "but nonviolence hasn't worked in this instance.""

"I am going to have to advocate, at this point, that all African-Americans advocate their 2nd Amendment rights," Rev. Mosteller said.

Nice, all Americans should want to use the second. Its like having a fire extinguisher you hope you never use it but its there just in case. The problem is the rest of the "leaders" will not advocate for black Americans to arm themselves, because then they may be able to defend their lives and neighborhoods and the "leaders" would lose their money, fame, and ability to enslave the community.
The best way to stop a criminal with a gun is to have a gun.
