I was inspired by all the Dry January folks to ditch Restaurants in February. We went to breakfast at Boston's on Saturday (wife was buying) and my meal cost $17 (only drank water). My wife's meal was slightly less but she ordered a cup of coffee and it was $3.50. Keep in mind Boston's is a hole in the wall pub/grill type place in a strip mall. $3.50 for coffee is insane!
Anyways I am making one exception and that is Papa Murphy's for family celebrations. Mom's birthday and Valentine's Day unless the wife wants flowers instead.
Call it a boycott, challenge, commitment, or just being cheap, but prepared food restaurants aren't going to get a dime out of my wallet in February. Hope this changes my life and turns out to be the best decision I ever made
