North's Chuck wagon (Next to the dick & steves) & and Uncle Milt's pizza,(in the now golds gym, across from the winchells donuts) can't forget the pink panther with the organ grinder and the bubble blower

Being from So Cal, Naugles was killer for Best Burrito.

I may be wrong but I think Del Taco bought it and Shut it down.

One of my favorite places to get fake Mexican food in California was Rubio's.

Gone. All Gone.

Also, for some strange reason, every Jimmy John's in the SF area has shut down recently.

We're in California right now, and this place is falling apart. I've been visiting California for over 40 years, if it ain't closed yet, it's either dilapidated or the furniture has been removed and everything is locked up.

They were all over the place in the 80's I love Naugles.
I've grown and love so much American breakfast in Southern Calif. "NORM's" was probably one of my all time favorite.
Did you even know "El Torito" is closing or probably closed now?

If you guys ever pass by in Los Angeles Chinatown and you're looking for a Hole in the Wall chinese restaurant. You may wanna try this.

I won't forget Thrifty's market or Thriftway. Some of them use to have a small 50's diner bar and ice creams. They even have a small specialty shopping mart. I bought my very first Sony Walkman (Japan) there and TDK cassette and Ampex Reel tapes (US and Japan). Now all you see even on Target are nothing but chinese junks....
Can't believe they are all gone.

In AZ we had a place called Long Wong's....

Just looked it up, still in business!
We had a place here in Portland called "Hung Far Low".

Thought it was pretty great place when I moved here from Utah in '83. We used to go to the one in Portland China Town when the Brother in law came to visit. He called it 'Hangs Way Down". Classic, Cool, Portland.

Someone help me out. I went there "once or twice," and it is/was a Chinese Buffet in Portland whose entrance is/was a set of stairs off the sidewalk into what seemed to be a large room; like a converted rundown conference room. Going through the downstairs door and up the stairs felt like walking into a shady gambling hall or mafia joint. I just remember TBE buffet being really good for such an unusual place. I wish I could remember the street or area of town.

Don't remember the name, but I do recall being there at the moment we started bombing Iraq again in 2002 or 2003. I think it wasn't too far from Mary's. Some lady sitting near us was freaked out becuase her dad was a reporter and in Saudi Arabia.

Yup, right around that time for me. I believe the first time was about 2001 and then again "a year or two later."
