The way I see it, Glock is on thin ice and they'll lose either way. I get why they're doing it. The world is the way the world is and the commies will sue for anything so Glock is trying to limit what they can get sued on. Thats just being smart from that perspective but then you have to deal with all of the people who either won't buy another Glock because it's different then their old reliable Glock of lore or because Glock "betrayed gun owners" by changing in the face of all the lawsuits. The only reason Glock has remained the same for so many years is because they didn't want to ruin their reputation by changing up the recipe too much. Gun buyers are a fickle crowd! As far as Glock not caring about civilian sales, that's a huge part of their market so I'm not buying that for a minute! If someone offers me a huge sum for the one Glock I own I'll take it, but they'd be a fool to pay more than $3-400 because there's a bazillion of them out there and the market is completely saturated. As for going with another company like CZ, have you seen the accusations about what Colt Canada was up
to in the great white north recently?

I'm kinda happy I got my G22 when I did. 40, 9mm, 357 sig, all from the same basic platform? Wondering though if I'll need a different "switch" for each chambering.

I paid $200 for the last G22 I got. Sold the slide and lower internals. Swapped it over to a G34. Cheapest Glock I put together.

Just remember a V is not a Gen five. Roman numbers have no place in perfection.

The 45 is still a 9mm. So no WW's won here still.

And the 40 is a 10mm. So not weak and small at all.

Seriously better gun. Half a dozen Glock clones out there now. Many are better than OG glocks. The Rugers come standard with RMR mounts and tritium suppressor sights . Ive got all of them. As odd as it sounds, the Rugers are just better.

That's the route I went for my G22, LE trade in. Won't do it again. Mine came in a plastic bag with no mags (restricted state). After shipping, ins., transfer fee, wa background check and buying a "compliant" magazine, I was in it nearly $400. Not the best deal I've ever made.

Ruger, shadow systems, lone wolf.

I'll take a OEM Glock over all of them. I don't care about iron sights or optic cuts as I immediately swap them out for my preferred sights. And if I am doing optics I direct mill for a single specific optic.

Best is subjective.

What's best to you may not be best to me.
