I think I am failing at attempting to explain my point. But yes you're correct. I am not denying that at all.

Hi points just need a switch. That's the full hood package.
Based on what I remember of disassembling (or trying to :s0140: ) the .45 Hi Point pistol, there's no way a switch could work in them.. the designer of the Hi Point and it's predecessors (Haskell and some other Saturday Night Specials?) seem to have gone out of their way to make it impossible to convert to full auto.

Interesting about the Glock copies / clones / etc....

So what if Glock makes the switch , pun intended , to a non-full auto design capable pistol.

Just how many Glocks or their clones are already out there...?

Again...this seems to me at least , more of a criminal matter , rather than a firearm matter.

Exactly correct, can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Proving, once again, that you have a functioning brain and not just two semi-connected neurons that misfire 90% of the time like most anti-gunners seem to have.

What we DO KNOW is that Glock wasn't an end all to all in perfection and it has taken other companies to build on a product to fine tune and improve and it has benefited the consumer greatly .

That we can all agree upon .

I own a Glock 23 which has borrowed ideas from the likes of Browning ( like 85% of guns out there )...... and because of Glocks design Springfield Armory came out with the Hellcat & Echelon of which I purchased each . So you could say : Glock helped me buy 2 Springfields in the ever ending persuit to Perfection . 🎯
PS .... I own many other brands , in keeping with the idea that I don't distriminate ........ I LIKE THEM ALL . :s0140:
