I was asked about the "purple colored hammer. This pistol is 28 years old and according to various forums, the harder steel used in these German guns did not take the anodizing as well. To me its an indication of originality and you should be concerned if you don'e see it in an early pistol.
To me it looks like a 28 year old pistol should look and functions just like a Sig should.
