Sorry you missed out on the concert Jim. The sound from old vinyl cannot be beat though.

I even have a large supply of unseasoned wood availible in a pinch, but hunkering down alone in my cabin for a week without power or internet isn't how i wanted to spend the week. I'll survive, but I'm not going to be happy about it.
Having bounced back and forth between West Virgina and Virginia most of my life, with about 2 years in Chicago thrown in there (and one forgettable year in Pittsburgh), I can verify that "snow" here isn't snow, "cold" isn't cold, "hot" isn't hot and humid (thank everything remotely holy), and "traffic" isn't traffic. And there's no denying that I've probably seen more wrecks in my two years here than I've seen in most of the rest of my driving life combined. But other than the wrecks part, it makes me feel spoiled! Everybody stay safe!
East coast is the same way. I'm currently in North Carolina and all of the Yankees from New Jersey and New York keep moving down here because of the taxes, etc., etc. Yet they try to bring the same big government ideas into the system here. And the corresponding tax increases and government controls.
Getting another snow dump. Mixed with rain. The roads were kind of mess when I went into town. So ready for the weather to start to clear.
