Do you remember the rash of assaults on tourists in Florida a few years ago......probably more than a few.......it happened after Florida relaxed there carry laws. It seems the hoods figured out that a tourist fresh through TSA and off the airplane are much less likely to be armed.......so they targeted rental cars and (many times German) tourists. It was so frequent that the German state department issued a warning and inquiry to our government about what was happening. The examples are numerous and well documented as to the silly hypocrisy of the anti gun crowds.

That fact simply illustrates the power of mass media/advertising and promotion in general in our world. Most people think things are worse now than ever........they have no idea.

So true.. we always bring up the bloodbath going on in Chicago, people seem to forget how bad things were in Miami back in the early 80s.
