That was true a long time ago. Mexico long ago took guns away from the citizens though. Back when the people could own a gun they could not have a .45 so there was a TON of 1911's in .38Super. When the Gov. told the people no more guns there was a TON of these pistols for sale in places like the Shotgun news very cheap. Now days since they are in huge trouble if they have a gun in any caliber I doubt it matters much. As always happens in places like that only the criminals can go about armed now.I hear that 38 Super is the most popular round in Mexico because they cant own any round the military uses...
Over the 40....
Well, the .38 Super has always been considered the auto version of the .357 Mag, because of its comparable power and caliber.

Its legal for Mexicans to own guns. They dont have the right to bear arms but do have the right to keep arms. That was true a long time ago. Mexico long ago took guns away from the citizens though. how many damn calibers do we really need? having all those choices is great but i think a full size nine or forty, doublestack semi-auto should do the job anywhere but maybe brown bear country, and for much cheaper than alot of those rounds listed.I'd take the .40 all day long compared to the calibers in this poll.
