I have a savage .17 hmr topped with a bushnell banner 6x18x40. Seems to the job quite well. We even had a confermed kill at 286 yds. last week. My boss has the same set up and they had a kill that ranged at 323 yds. Pretty surprising that you can hit something so small at that range.
