Taking a gun to the shot show in vegas is a tough one. Most of the big hotels have been bought up by two or three companies and as far I know you are not allowed to have firearms in any of them.

BTW I was in Seattle for work 2 weeks ago. I NEVER carried a firearm concealed as that would be wrong and against the law.

Another weird thing about NV is, when I had a vacation there a couple years ago I called State Patrol HQ, and asked what's what with CC etc! No can do on my OR or WA license's. However, it was perfectly legal to have a loaded shotgun in the vehicle! As long as no shell was chambered! WTH!!!

South Carolina is weird like OR & WA, but has a similar whacky rule like above.

Any non-prohibited person can have a loaded, chambered handgun in there glove compartment.

Not in a cubby, or center console or any similar. Glove compartment, or locked up in a trunk.

So, in our upcoming drive back to Oregon we can carry legally in every state along the way (thanks Utah for non resident permits!), EXCEPT for in South Carolina!
