Nevada anti-gunners submit petitions as Wash. activists plan protest

Nevadans for Background Checks made it official yesterday when they submitted more than 246,000 signatures on a petition calling for so-called "universal background checks" in the Silver State, a move predicted months ago by the Washington gun rights advocate battling the first such measure in his state.
