I believe it is a Savage stock, they used that style of checkering on several rifles in the 60's thru 70's. A lot of the 110 models had it as I recall.

Well by golly we got that one resolved...looks like. Where did you come up with the bare stock?

What a relief. This Stock has been bugging me for quite sum time. I even called my Gunsmith who specializes in Shotguns and he couldnt help. I purchased the Stock at a Estate Sale in Enumclaw Wa along with sum ole school Lawrence Holsters. Thanks to all who helped out, including you Ken. Peace Out Rod
