Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I have an argentine complete slide on a Springfield GI lower and it shoots great. A more beat up than the one you show but haven't had any issues. I think mine was from 1927 or 28 IIRC.

Appears your gun was made by Colt in 1941, sold to Argentina.
My gun was made by Colt in 1933 (S/N C164800 to C174599 – 1933 – 9800)
and also was sold to Argentina. Returned to the US in 1981 by Interarms.
It was very worn, almost no bluing left. Slide was very loose.
Was stamped "POLICIA DE LA CAPITAL"
