They have failed clear mandates of the people who elected them. The Senate deserves the Republican minority, not the House IMO.

Which is why I'm vote Democrat from now on. To hell with it.

Because Senate Judiciary sat on it, probably at McConnell's direction.

Had Grassley sent it up, there weren't 60 votes to get past the filibuster, and McConnell couldn't break a sweat never mind make Chuck Schumer try to organize a Jimmy Stewart filibuster for-real.

Had there been no filibuster, there were problem Drag-Queen Dems in the GOP Caucus with names like Flake, McCain, Collins, and Porker.

Maybe a few Dems might have favored it... the problem is that Schumer can enforce "Party discipline" while McConnell cannot--or he uses that handful of rogues as a cat's-paw to foil agendas the rank-and-file wants but he personally does not as another trick in Failure Theater.
