NASCAR shows that when you remove bad drivers from the road, heavy traffic can move at 90 mph very few accidents.
Or 200mph on a big track.

BTW, anyone who thinks racing isn't athletic or physically demanding is ignorant.
Their fan base is drying up.
Though to be sure, I couldn't possibly care less about nascar and (to me) how it could possibly be appealing.
I rank it below watching golf and curling.
I never understood it...
Yup!^ Truth. I may have never really given a rip about NASCAR, and circa Q3 2019, racing is no longer on my personal radar, though it was years ago. But anyone who thinks racing isn't physically demanding is grossly misinformed.
Yup!
I had to self moderate a few times!
This may very well be but the driver and his or her physical athleticism is hidden in the front seat and all we see are cars going round and round - kind of like watching the 'spinning wheel of death' while a website is loading.BTW, anyone who thinks racing isn't athletic or physically demanding is ignorant.
Not much variable there either...even the drivers are governed.Haha, some excellent points.
Besides, who still watches this stuff?
All the cars are the same, they are governed, limited, set downforce, set frames, set tires.. only variable is the driver.
It is in this household. My wife is the only one who watches it..and yes, she is from the south. Poor girlNASCAR?
Isn't that some kind of a women's knitting club?
used to be faster before they restricted'mOr 200mph on a big track.

looks like its not just the cars taking left turns
This makes me think about doing something I SWORE I would never do, buy a Military Styled Semi Auto in a caliber less than .30.

All commercialized sports have bent the knee and showed their true spineless virtue signaling selves. Bowing down to political influence and making public statements. Its all a waste of time and money anyhow.
