Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
There's a few Unimog converted snow-plows (and farm vehicles) I see from time to time. Makes me wish I had one, although I don't have space to park it (other than on the street). But that Jeep concept.. Unimog-esque. Now if they'd only put in that old CRD they had in the Liberty for a year... imagine the fun.
There are any number of Willys FC-140 and FC-170's still around. The FC-140 was pretty capable off raod having just a 140" wheel base. The longer 170 was more like a Willys Pickup in lenght. If I remember right they had very long narrow boxes. I worked with one on a christmas tree farm after high school. Course it was so beat to bubblegum it barely managed to haul a box full of high school kids to the work site.
