I am hard pressed to reconcile two recent articles. Kevin Starrett has an Alert article dated 04/19/2013 about Dan Staton testifying in support of the new Multnomah County anti-firearm owner ordinance. I am interpreting a Gresham Outlook article in the May 14, 2013, edition on page A3 as Staton saying how bad the new ordinance is and that he will not be enforcing most of it. If anyone attended either the Multnomah County meeting or the Corbett town hall that is referenced in the Outlook article, I would be interested in hearing their take-away on what Staton said in each instance.
If he is talking out of both sides of his mouth, I believe that voters should take note.
