I put a rail on my 500 using the existing holes. Does yours not have threaded holes on top of the reciever withscrews in them?

Unfortunately, I just have the serrated flattop receiver no screws.

You can get a tap and die set at the hardware store... I think the one you'll need is like a 8-32 , prob cost ya 10 bucks...the reciever is aluminum, should cut like butter

I thought Speedfeed discontinued the ones for the Mossberg and any remaining on the market are old stock. People complained of buying the mossberg grip only to find that it did not fit flush and was stamped with R870.

Is yours stamped with "R870"?. Is it flush with the receiver? If so, where and when did you buy that speedfeed grip?
