Can't mount Knights 20" rail.

Just got PSA 20" FN upper. I've have new knights rail M5. The Delta ring can go far enough to clear the rail but the rail seems not wide enough to clear the "teeth" on the D-ring.

On line I've seen it is and it isn't a problem. Anyone deal with this? Trying not to scuff it up before it's even used.

Perhaps it's a 2 piece drop in design that has this annoying little spring clip that shoves right under your front handguard cap and with some muscling and jiggering and cursing

It should be on in no time

Once the front slips on the handguard cap
Sometimes the back doesn't engage the barrel nut teeth straight on you gotta rock em and wiggle them in until they snap in like 2 piece handguards do
