go with Glock 10mm MOS and have flexibility for 40 SW or go with 1911 10 MM have have MOS customized? Any ideas which way to go? I like the 10 mm idea with 40 flexibility. Thanks.
At one point I was contemplating modifying an existing gun for a red dot vs. buying a new one. What I found at the time is that after paying for the slide to be shipped off, the cost of the smith's time, refinishing, adding suppressor sights, etc., I was well over half the price of buying a new gun setup from the factory for a red dot. At the point that I passed 50%, I figured I would rather just pay a bit more and have a whole new complete gun.
