Hey all,
Due to financial constraints I'm forced to sell off my Mitchell K98 (yes I know it's not all that desirable as a collector item, but it is a fun rifle to shoot). Purchased it new about 8 years ago. Asking 400, and buyer pays FFL Fees.
Specs:
Collector Grade Mitchell's Mausers K98
8x57mm
1940 rifle, waffenamt markings are faded but present. (They suggest it was a standard "Heer" or army rifle)
I've put maybe 60-70 rounds through it
I have 5 stripper clips for it and a handful of brass (for those looking to reload)
Also including an original German Army ammunition carrier dated 1937
Hard rifle case is included as well.
Any questions please feel free to ask. I can provide and additional photos or information to the best of my ability upon request.
Also, yes, I know that there will be some experts on here that will quote chapter and verse how this rifle has no historical significance and thus not much value. But, here's the deal, it's a very clean, very well maintained and fantastic shooting rifle and its for sale. I didn't buy it for its collection value, I bought it because I wanted one. Now I have to part with it, unfortunately.
Thanks,
Steve
