Eaten by a shark would be a bad way to go. I was free diving for abs at the southend of Sharps Park down the coast from Frisco when a helo made several low passes over me. The observer saw I was getting out of the water, waved, and they moved on up the beach. Later the next day the paper said a diver had disappeared and they found parts of his diving suit in the water a few hundred yards from where I was diving.

My mom has a Megalodon tooth almost the size of OP's, but it is more intact. The one OP has is pretty big. She also has lots of dinosaur teeth as well.

Anyone collect coprolites?

If so, don't put 'em in your mouth, and wash your hands after you play with 'em!
Oddly enough...
I started doing some granite work (uniquely sourced granite 1911 grips) and built a saw using a diamond blade on a benchtop table saw. I started cutting interesting rocks, and one with a bunch of bone fossils...yup, coprolite.
