Super timely! I just did a hike and took GPS coordinates of where I parked and where our objective was and really wanted to know how far we went.

Looks like 2.7 miles, with no trails, and busting brush and going up in elevation by 800'. Not too bad for a fat 50 yr old, a 70 yr old, and an 85 yr old. We were definitely wore out by the time we got back to the SUV.

You can also measure things like how big is an intersection or cul-de-sac diameter.






Very useful if you have something like a trailer and want to ensure you will fit.

Or if you get in an accident.


My wife uses it all the time to determine if a school bus will be able to deliver to a particular address.
