excluding individual power tripping cops, It all depends on what they make a priority as an organization imo. Fe we used to have a normal, common sense head of the state patrol. But he left because Portland wanted their help but refused to prosecute anyone. So of course the D brown appointed a woman who will do her bidding. If a D gov says, "OSP make this a priority", then they will. Same with local cops. Again though, there are some like "the hatchet" OSP officer in eastern OR who WILL prosecute you for anything they possibly can, it's in his DNA. Fortunately they are pretty rare though from what I have seen.I suspect we will hear very little about people being charged with possessing "high capacity" magazines. I can't recall ever seeing anything about someone being charged with selling a firearm in violation of SB941 and that passed years ago. The number of people who are prosecuted for lying or falsifying information on a Form 4473 is really small - Hunter Biden comes to mind. They just like to pile on the laws to keep the law-abiding folks in line and show us who's the boss.
